DESCRIPTION:From March 20–22\, 2026\, T! Darmstadt will host Tango Experience Darmstadt\, a small festival featuring three milongas from the diverse spectrum of tango in Darmstadt. \nAn unusual festivalito that connects traditional and neo tango.\nThree milongas in Darmstadt in one weekend — possibly more.\nA great reason to travel to Darmstadt even from farther away. \nNo registration required – no participation fee.\nAll milongas are donation-based to allow for the greatest possible inclusion.\nJust come to Darmstadt\, donate as generously as you can\, and celebrate tango in all its diversity. \nFriday\, March 20\, 2026:\nMilonga Poco de Todo with TJ Marcus (50:50) \nSaturday\, March 21\, 2026:\nMilonga Sueño with TJane Gabi (traditional) \nSunday\, March 22\, 2026:\nMilonga Armónico with TJ El Librillo\n(1/3 traditional\, 1/3 modern\, 1/3 non-tango in a harmonious mix) \nWorkshops: Saturday\, March 21\, 2026\nInstructors: Heidi and her (Argentine) husband Julián.\nHeidi and Julián have been teaching tango for over 20 years (originally in Berlin\, now in Darmstadt). They teach authentic Río de la Plata tango and convey the “classical” tango steps and movement patterns. \n14:00 – 15:00: Tango taster workshop (no previous experience required)\n15:15 – 16:15: Chacarera (no previous experience required)\n16:30 – 17:30: Milonga with traspié – with fine variations (tango experience required)\n17:45 – 18:45: Vals with elegant variations (tango experience required) \nIndividuals are also welcome to participate — you may find a partner on site. \nCost: €10 per person per workshop — payable in cash on site to Heidi and Julián (card payment not possible). \nThe workshops on March 21 will take place at: \nTanzsportzentrum in der Waldkolonie\nDornheimer Weg 79\n64293 Darmstadt \nRegistration: tangokursedarmstadt@gmail.com \n\n  \nLadies: There is no registration and therefore no role balancing — so please encourage as many leaders as possible to participate. \nSubscribe to our E-Mail-Newsletter for updates. \nFor additional events and offerings\, we have contacted other tango organizers in the region.
