Noche Azul – Als regelmäßige, wöchentliche Milonga unter der Woche, wird es nicht sehr spät auch wenn uns vom Wochenende nur noch ein Arbeitstag trennt.
Die Milonga del Miercoles in der Academia de Tango, die seit 25 Jahren ihren festen Platz in der Frankfurter Milonga Landschaft hat, erfindet sich als ‘Noche Azul’ neu. Der Donnerstag ist der neue Tag, an dem die Academia de Tango jetzt ihre Pforten für die Tänzer aus Rhein-Main öffnet.
Die Milonga findet statt von 21:15 Uhr bis ca. 00:15 Uhr (Musik mindestens bis Mitternacht).
Für Studenten bis 30 Jahre gilt ‘halber Preis’ also bitte bei Ankunft bemerkbar machen.
Falls die Kasse nicht besetzt ist (ab ca. 22:15): Schuhe umziehen und vor der nächsten Tanda bezahlen. Der Einfachheit halber: zuerst bezahlen (ausschliesslich an der Kasse), dann tanzen!
Für gewohnt qualitativ hochwertig, klassische Musik sind bewährte DJs aus der Region zuständig

Wir bitten um aktive Teilnahme an einer funktionierenden Ronda:
- Blickkontakt mit dem Leader vor dem man die Tanzfläche betritt.
- Kein zu dichtes “Auffahren” auf den Vorderman.
- Keine “Spurwechsel”, “rechts-Überholen” und Lücken ausnutzten.
- Kein “Ausbremsen” wenn vor die für drei Paare Platz ist, bist du zu langsam!
- Kein “Small talk’ während des Tanzens – “Viele Worte – Ursache schlechten Tanzens”!

Noche Azul – As a regular weekly milonga during the week, it doesn’t go too late—even if there’s only one more workday separating us from the weekend.
The Milonga del Miércoles at Academia de Tango, which has held a steady place in the Frankfurt tango scene for 25 years, is reinventing itself as “Noche Azul”. Thursday is now the new day when Academia de Tango opens its doors to dancers from across the Rhine-Main area.
The milonga takes place from 9:15 PM to around 12:15 AM (music will play at least until midnight).
Students up to the age of 30 pay half price—please make this known when you arrive.
If the ticket desk is unattended (from around 10:15 PM): change your shoes and pay before the next tanda. To keep things simple: pay first (exclusively at the desk), then dance!
As always, high-quality traditional music will be provided by well-known DJs from the region:

We kindly ask for your active contribution to a smooth and respectful ronda (line of dance):
- Make eye contact with the leader before entering the dance floor.
- Don’t follow too closely behind the couple in front.
- No changing lanes, overtaking on the right, or squeezing into gaps.
- Don’t block the flow—if there’s space for three couples in front of you, you’re too slow!
- No chatting while dancing—”Too many words – cause of poor dancing!”
