Through original videos from the years when she danced with the great milongueros of Buenos Aires, Graciela González shares a rare and personal journey into the living history of Argentine tango.
But this workshop is not just about watching videos! Participants will learn to bring each step to life on the dance floor through masterful guidance of Graciela.
This is the perfect opportunity to not only witness the authentic style, musicality, and subtle technical details that shaped Argentine Tango, but also experience tango as it was lived, felt, and transmitted from one generation to the next.
A unique chance to connect with the roots of the dance — directly from someone who was there.
After the workshop, the Tardecita Milonga will take place as usual.

ContacTango
Argentinischer Tango und Contact Improvisation teilen trotz ihrer unterschiedlichen Bewegungsqualitäten die Improvisation als zentrales Element. Im ContacTango werden Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschiede beider Tanzformen in einem kreativen Prozess verbunden, so dass Neues entstehen kann.
Ausgehend von Musikalität, Körperachse und Gehen erforschen wir Grundlagen des Tangos und verknüpfen sie mit Qualitäten der Contact Improvisation: Körperstruktur, Schwerkraft und dem eigenen Zentrum jeder Person. Daraus entstehen neue Bewegungsmöglichkeiten, die beide Tanzformen bereichern können.
So entwickelt sich ein Tanz, der die poetische Bildsprache des Tango Argentino mit den freien Bewegungsmustern der Contact Improvisation verbindet und Begegnungen voller Überraschung und Poesie ermöglicht.
