Sonderworkshop Mit Damian Esell

In his visit to Europe Damian comes back to Hessen to share with us the best of his tango.
This workshop is very special since the theme will be set according to the interests of the group that will be formed.
It is a meeting for all levels and it is important to attend with a partner.

Damian Esell is a Tango teacher and dancer from Argentina. His artistic training includes the study of piano, electroacoustic music, fine arts, Yoga, and Tango dance.
Among his teachers that influenced his formation are Mingo and Esther Pugliese, Eduardo Sotelo and Mabel Caraballo, Roberto Herrera, Gustavo Naveira, Gabriel Angio and Natalia Games, Raul Bravo. She currently consults with masters such as Max Vera and Jimena Hoeffner, Aoniken Quiroga.
His knowledge in art, computer science, multimedia and music are combined in the development of his way of seeing the world, art and dance, developing his own tango pedagogy based on the integration of all disciplines learned, artistic and scientific.

Thanks to the teaching of Tango dance he has been able to travel around the world for pedagogical and artistic purposes, participating in a large number of international festivals and seminars in more than fifty countries from 1999 to the present, mostly with his ex-wife Nancy Louzán.

He has been a member of the jury of the Metropolitan Championships of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and the Tango World Championship in most of the editions, and has also participated as a teacher in the festivals of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

He currently integrates a dance couple with his partner Noelia Soldera, during the pandemic he has reinvented himself by forming a tango company called ̈Tanghostleader ̈, dedicated to the production of his own video tutorials of tango pedagogy, which can be seen for free on his YouTube channel ̈Tanghostleader ̈, via live streaming on YouTube or Facebook, in parallel to giving online classes through the digital platform ZOOM.
Together with Noelia Soldera they have been awarded with the Third place in the category of Waltz of the Metropolitan championship, 2022, and Finalists of the world championship of Tango de pista 2023.
