Tango in Düsseldorf

The Düsseldorf tango scene offers classes and Prácticas on all weekdays, primarily at the venues Studio TangoTodo, Tango Intimo Kursort, tanzhaus nrw and at absoluttanzbar. Monday through Wednesday there are several classes at different levels as well as Prácticas with guidance. Workshops and Milongas take place regularly on weekends.

This week

This week a new tango argentino beginners' class starts on Friday at Bürgerhaus Salzmannbau with two sessions at 6:50 pm and 8:50 pm. On Saturday there is a BASICS workshop at Studio TangoTodo at 3 pm, followed by the Saturday Milonga with tango workshop at absoluttanzbar at the Grafenberger Allee location at 7 pm. The weekend concludes on Sunday with another BASICS workshop at Studio TangoTodo and the tango café for people with Parkinson's at tanzhaus nrw. In the coming week, new course blocks begin on Tuesday at absoluttanzbar at the B8 Center location, and on Thursday, November 12th, the Milonga at Bürgerhaus Salzmannbau with taster class takes place at 6 pm.

Those who are new to Düsseldorf or visiting the city will find a well-structured scene with regular offerings at all levels. Beginners can choose between various beginners' classes, for example at Tango Intimo, at Studio TangoTodo or at absoluttanzbar. The Prácticas with guidance from Monday through Wednesday at Studio TangoTodo are a good opportunity for free dancing with supervision. For Milongas, it's worth checking out the Saturday event at absoluttanzbar or the monthly dates at Bürgerhaus Salzmannbau and at Fuchs im Hofmann's.
