Tango in Cologne and the Rhineland

The tango scene in Cologne and the Rhineland offers numerous courses every day of the week for all levels – from beginners to advanced dancers. The weekends belong to the Milongas: On Fridays, the Milonga "De mis amores" takes place at Salon La Pista, on Saturdays you can dance at Tango Colón and at La nocturna at Tango VidaMia, and on Sundays tango8 opens regularly.

This week

This week is quiet with the usual course offerings and regular Milongas. On Friday, the evening begins at 6:30 pm with a Friday SoloTraining with Nina at Tango VidaMia. On Sunday, there are two beginner workshops: At 2:00 pm, a Tango beginner workshop starts at Bürgerzentrum Nippes – Turmstraße, followed at 4:00 pm by Tango erleben – Einsteiger-Workshop at Tango VidaMia. Those looking ahead to next weekend can look forward to the TANGO Intensiv Seminar I – Eleganz im Dialog mit der Musik (intermediate level and above) on November 13th and 14th at Tango VidaMia.

Anyone new to Cologne or visiting the city will find courses and dancing opportunities every evening of the week. For beginners, there are beginner courses at various locations: on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Tango FF, on Tuesdays at BailarINA in the Tenri Kulturwerkstatt, or on Thursdays at Tanzzentrum Weißhausstraße and at the Sprouting Sessions at Tango Garden. For social dancing, the Milonga "De mis amores" at Salon La Pista invites you on Fridays at 8:30 pm, and on Saturdays La nocturna at Tango VidaMia at 9:30 pm as well as the Milonga at Tango Colón at 9:00 pm. The tango venues are distributed throughout the city and the Rhineland, with some courses also taking place in Leverkusen, Brühl and Hürth.
