City pages
Travelling to Berlin, you want to know what runs there – not the whole list. That is what the city pages at /en/staedte/ and /en/stadt/<city>/ are for.

Every German state capital has its card, even where little happens yet (“still few events – we keep looking”). A page of its own opens by itself as soon as three different organizers have events in the city – nobody has to apply for it.
What a city page shows

- The week's numbers – events in total, confirmed, corroborated, hints.
- The text of the week – a short text: what runs, what is new, a topic, a few tips. It is written with AI support from our events and from facts about the city (Wikipedia, the city's own pages). Every statement is checked against the calendar; a sentence that is not backed is struck. Below it: “as of” and, when translated, “translated”. Earlier texts stay reachable as an archive.
- Regularly – the week grid: which milonga on which weekday, with time and venue. ✓ and green means confirmed by the organizer, yellow corroborated by sources, grey a hint.

- The next two weeks – as a list, with the buttons “All events here” and “Map”.
- Venues and organizers of the city with their counts; a ✓ marks organizers with an account.
The page opens with milongas; “Show all kinds” adds prácticas, classes and workshops, the chips Kind and Style narrow it down.
Five languages
City pages exist in German, English, Spanish, Italian and French – the language links sit at the top of the page. The text of the week is translated from German and checked once more (numbers, times and places must match). Where a translation is still missing, “Text in English for now” says so.
Your home area
A city you opened is remembered by your browser – there only, without a cookie, without an account. On your next visit the start page offers “Continue in Frankfurt”; “forget” deletes the note.
A mistake in the text?
If something in the text of the week is wrong, write a short note to the editors (address in the imprint) saying what is wrong. The text is then rewritten with that note; usually by the next morning.
